Misdemeanors and felony matters

If you missed your court date for a misdemeanor violation and a warrant has been issued for your arrest, you must contact the clerks office to be placed on calendar. If a felony arrest warrant was issued for your arrest you must surrender yourself to the Calaveras County Jail Monday through Friday before 10:00 a.m. in order to appear before the judge on the in custody calendar the same day.

If you wish to appear before the judge for any reason, you may submit an Application for Immediate Hearing. This form is located under Common Local Forms. You must complete the form and submit it to the court. Your request for hearing will be given to a Judge for review.

If you fail to pay your fine your case may be referred to a collection agency or the Franchise Tax Board. You may not appear in court without filing a formal motion. You must contact the collection agency, GC Services at 1-800-333-8395 or the Franchise Tax Board at 916-845-4064.
