SELF-HELP LEGAL CENTER

The Self-Help Legal Center offers one-stop legal assistance; a place for people to research a legal matter, type forms, make photocopies, and get prepared to file their papers. Appointments can be made for individual assistance or sign-up to attend one of the “How to” clinics. The Self-Help Legal Center is provided by the Superior Courts of Amador and Calaveras Counties. All services are free of charge.

Self-Help Legal Center Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 am- 12:30 pm and 1:00 pm – 3 pm except scheduled holidays and limited service days as a result of budget reductions. The Self-Help Legal Center will be closed on Monday, December 24, 2012; Tuesday, December 25, 2012; Monday, December 31, 2012 and Tuesday, January 1, 2013 due to court furloughs and holiday closures.
