INTERPRETER

In all proceedings, except juvenile or criminal proceedings, counsel or self-represented litigants requiring the assistance of a foreign language interpreter for a non-English speaking party or witness at hearing or trial must make all necessary arrangements prior to the trial or hearing for the presence of an appropriate interpreter. See local rule 2.6 for additional information.

Court currently provides a Spanish-English language interpreter the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Friday of every month at 8:45am in Department 2 and at 10:00am in Department 1. For other languages an interpreter will be provided by Language Line or your matter will be continued to another date when a foreign language interpreter can be available.
